It’s only natural I suppose… but I just realized why I prefer certain music.  The ones that I prefer are the ones that seem to represent me. What I mean is the songs (both lyrics and music) that seem to say “I understand you”.

Please don’t ruin the moment for me by saying “No, it’s ‘You complete me’!”.   It’s one of the primary needs of a human: the desire to be understood. For who I am and what I am. No matter what dumb anime shows (or TV shows for that matter) I watch or how bad my jokes are, I just want to be understood and accepted.

So it’s only natural that I love the songs that cry my heart out like “Daylight” by “Brave Saint Saturn”, “Every New Day” by “Five Iron Frenzy”, and “More than useless” by “Relient K”. We all know that it takes long time for relationships to go the distance it needs to go to come to a point where people can share and be just themselves. I suppose I take refuge, no, a shelter (in a cowardly ways more than honorable) in the songs. While that may sound decent, we all know that in the end, even songs will fade away…

Only God remians… man, these lessons are hard to live by! That’s why I focus only on what is at hand…
