Datsun 240Z/Fairlady Concept Designs

I’ve always been a fan of Datsun 240Z and Nissan 280Z/300ZX series… Now, Nissan brought awesome GTR (though controversial with unfair horsepower reporting) to the fans…

Then I found these mouth-watering awesome concept designs on Datsun 240Z/Fairlady! If you recall, 240Z had long hood and was fairly quick to its feet in its time. I really hope that they bring this to reality… ’cause I’d buy one in a heartbeat! This is also reminiscing of 240SX, also known in Japan as Fairlady. Kids and Houston Auto Show ’08

So I was brave enough to decide to take the kids this year to the Houston Auto Show 2008!  I knew JJ would love it but wasn’t so sure about Anna… well, they both loved it really!  And the unexpected part was that they both wanted to get in all the cars and take pictures!  😀  That was so cute…

We did total of about 2 and 1/2 hours of walking around and seeing all kinds of cars… my favorite was seeing the Audi R8!  That car was suh-wheat!  Here are the pictures of it…  Enjoy!  I know I did.

Oh yeah… Buick had a water fountain to show…

India’s Tata Motors unveils cheapest car at $2500!!

Wow… $2500 for a new car?  😮  India unveiled the smallest and cheapest car on the planet!  Not only does it manage to fit 5 people in (forget comfortable!), it also gets freakin’ 54 mpg!!  This has to be the ultimate city car!!  But what’s America (and the rest of the world, for that matter) doing?!!  Zip in and zip out!!

Seriously, weighing in at 3800 lbs and with a price sticker of under $80,000, this reminds me of the first ime NSX came out to the public!! Very nice usage of retro look with sharp edges and corners.  Click on the link or the picture to see more pics of this beautiful car!!
